Isabelle Cristine Galvez is a senior college student majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies in the Ateneo. She's a girl of many interests, hence the additional courses she minors in are Communication and Music Literature.

Isabelle is very fond of music, considering the two main musical influences, her family and educational attainment at Manila Waldorf School. Her father, Martin Galvez, is 1 out of 10 musically inclined siblings. "When I was a kid, my dad taught me how to play the ukulele." From that early point in Isabelle's life, she began her journey and love for music. An often activity her whole clan does is to get together in a house, play their musical instruments in chorus, and create symphonies that would last until sunrise.

Aside from her family, a big factor that played in her fondness for music was her previous school, Manila Waldorf School. "My old school's curriculum is non-traditional.", Isabelle mentioned. Afterwards she added, "In grade 3, our teacher made us participate in various activities that involved our hands in order to determine the main instrument we're meant to practice, play, and pursue.” Since the year 2008, Isabelle has made the violin, a 4-string soprano instrument her main avenue as an instrumentalist. Isabelle is very into string instruments that she also plays the guitar for fun.

Her love for music has enriched her to become a string-fond musician. If it weren’t for Manila Waldorf School and her musically-oriented family gatherings and support, she wouldn’t be the musician she is today. On her last year as an AB Interdisciplinary Student minoring in Communication and Music Literature, she seeks to spend it in organizations that delve on music such as the Ateneo Musicians’ Pool, the premier music organization of the Ateneo.
