1. Ridge to Reef

In the first place, Pia Ranada a journalist whom I put on a pedestal. An Ateneo Alumna of AB Communication, she withholds the truth behind all the stories she writes for Rappler. She is courageous and strong. To read her words on the blog, it's inspiring how one can so greatly captivate an audience with just words on a screen.

2. Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho

Jessica Soho may seem overrated to many people because of her many features on television and her audience following. But one thing I personally like about her is the fearlessness she exudes. She doesn't only talk about news, but her magazine show releases features on "current events, lifestyle trends, and interesting individuals."

3. HuffPost

There are a handful of news blogs that cover a wide range of topiccs from news, politics, entertainment to communities, special projects and even horoscopes. The biggest coverage that is most reliable for me is Huffpost. They cover it internationally, from the USA, Europe and even countries in Asia. It's relevant, transparent and viewable to any reader around the country.

4. TED Blog

Sometimes news blogs can get a little uninspiring and uninteresting because the topics features on these sites may not be of interest of the people. When seeking inspiration from primary sources, TED blog is the place to find that. Not only is TED known for its talks in universities and other socially relevant events, but the articles written as just as magical as the talks given by their speakers.

5. The Inquirer

On a more techy side, this blog may be the most relevant one of the time being. Now that technology is at its highest peak since its rise, news about technology is what's most significant to us. From phone reviews, to artificial intelligence findings, and any tech related events, The Inquirer, in no doubt, will deliver to its relevance.
